Tutoring
UTUT offers customized tutoring for students between the ages of 3 to 18 years old. Tutoring is offered 6 days a week, from Monday-Saturday. Students are more receptive to learning when they have a good time! UTUT achieves this by identifying the learner’s interests and using these interests to increase motivation to learn. A positive reinforcement approach is used throughout each session. UTUT specializes in teaching students with various exceptionalities.
Both Remediation and Enrichment programs use Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching methodologies to accel students forward. UTUT tutors are trained in Reading Mastery, Spelling Mastery, Connecting Math Concepts, and Language for Learning programs.
Homework Support
UTUT provides support with homework completion across different curriculum areas. Support also focuses on developing organizational skills and independent works skills
Remediation
Remediation programs are available for Language Skills, Reading, Spelling, Writing, and Math. Each learner will have an initial assessment done to determine starting skill level. Learning goals will be set accordingly.
Enrichment
Enrichment programs are available for Language Skills, Reading, Spelling, Writing, and Math. Each learner will have an initial assessment done to determine starting skill level. Learning goals will be set accordingly.
